       There is just something about getting to choose what clothes or outfits I would wear for a day that makes my happy hormones triggered. It feels like being in love with someone, the feeling is like something is gently tickling the depths of my being and gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling deep down inside. When there is a time that I could get to do that, on that day, I would be more productive and motivated to do things such as my schoolworks that I usually do right the day of the deadline, socializing which I get easily tired of when it's just a normal day and some time I do not really have the energy to do, and household chores that I am so lazy to do but I want the house cleaned up. I love to dress in a style I want to because choosing my outfit is not just about looking good, it is my way of saying, "Hey world, this is me!" It is about feeling confident and showing off my own style and also I can authentically showcase my individuality. Sure, it is nice when people dig my look, but at the end of the day, I'm doing it for me. And when someone does give me a nod of approval, it is like a little bonus boost of happiness. So, as I stand there in front of my closet, piecing together the perfect outfit, I am not just throwing on clothes, I am painting a picture of who I am. Then there are the little details, the funky socks peeking out from under my pants, the statement necklace that adds a pop of personality, or even the scent of my favorite perfume lingering in the air. It is these small touches that turn an outfit from ordinary to extraordinary. And let me tell you, there is nothing quite like the feeling of strutting out the door, knowing I have dressed to impress myself, first and foremost. It is like unlocking a secret superpower. Suddenly, I am not just me, I am the best version of myself, ready to take on whatever the day throws my way. But it is not just about looking good on the outside, it is about feeling good on the inside too. Maybe it seems silly to some, but for me, choosing what to wear is not just about fashion, it is about embracing my own self. And if that means spending a few extra minutes in front of the mirror every morning, then so be it. After all, a little self-expression never hurt nobody. It is not about following trends or fitting in with the crowd. It is about wearing what makes me feel like an expensive thing, whether that is a vintage tee and jeans combo or a very much baggy clothes that make me look like a hanger. You can call me a fashionista or a trendsetter, but really, I am just a regular person who loves playing dress-up. Because at the end of the day, getting dressed is about more than just covering up, it is about showing the world the real me, in evey outfit I experimented.
